Shaanthi ICSE School, Periyakottai
What began as a quiet promise blossomed into a luminous morning of voices, verse, and vision. On 31st January 2026, Shaanthians gathered for Carpe Diem, our signature literary celebration, where quills dreamed and books remembered—just as the invitation foretold. From the ceremonial lighting of the lamp to the final moments of gratitude and reflection, every heartbeat of the day shimmered with purpose.
The stage bloomed with Tamil, English and Hindi group songs, a stirring Carpe Diem Anthem, Villupaattu, Role Play, Pattimandram, Rhapsody in Verse, and the powerful Shaanthi TED—each performance unfolding courage, creativity, and clarity. Our Chief Guest, JFM G. Kiruthika (Zone Director, Junior Chamber International), crowned young voices with wisdom and warmth, turning curiosity into confidence and questions into quests.
Beyond the auditorium, the Book Fair on the campus unfurled like a festival of imagination. Parents and students wandered through aisles of stories, discovering new worlds, receiving surprise gifts, and carrying home more than purchases—they carried wonder. Together, the celebration and the fair wove reading into joy, making literature feel alive and magnetic.
Carpe Diem did more than showcase talent—it sculpted Shaanthians. It taught them to speak with courage, listen with respect, read with hunger, and dream without limits. When the curtains softened and the echoes faded, countless inner stories had just begun to rise.
