Montessori is an educational approach developed by Italian physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori. Dr.Montessori founded a theory of education that has had a profound influence on the lives of thousands of children  throughout the world since the beginning of the 20th century.

Montessori education is a highly respected and renowned educational approach developed by Dr.Montessori (1870-1952) on italian physician and educator in the early 20th century.

it is a child – centered method that emphasizes self-directed learning independence and the holistic development of the child.

At the core of Montessori education is the prepared environment , a carefully designed and throughout fully arranged classroom that encourages exploration discovery and hands – on – learning.

The classroom is filled with a wide range of age-appropriate materials and activities that promote censorial exploration practical life skills, language  development, mathematics, culture and the arts.

One of the fundamental principles of Montessori education is the concept of freedom within limits.children are given the freedom to choose their activities and were at their own pace. fostering a sense of independence, responsibility and intrinsic motivation.

However this freedom is guided by dear boundaries and respect for others creating a sense of structure and discipline within the classroom community.

Another distinguishing feature of Montessori education is the role of the teacher often referred to as a guide or directress.

The Teacher’s role is to observe each child closely,Identify their individual needs and interests, and provide guidance and support accordingly.

They create an environment that encourages self-discovery,facilities and learning opportunities and nurtures the child’s intellectual, social , emotional and physical development.

Montessori education places a strong emphasis on the importance of hands – on – learning and the development of sensory and motor skills.

The materials used in the classroom are specifically designed to engage the child’s senses allowing them to explore concepts through direct manipulation and concrete experiences.

Language development is also a cornerstone of Montessori education through various activities, such as vocabulary building,storytelling phonics and reading and writing exercises children develop strong communication skills and a love for language.
