K1 Field Trip – Domestic Animals & Birds | Shaanthi ICSE, Jothinagar
On a fresh January morning, learning slipped off its shoes and stepped onto soil. Our K1 Shaanthians set out on a farm visit that felt less like a trip and more like a gentle awakening. Wide skies, green breaths of land, and the rhythm of rural life welcomed them with open arms.
Tiny explorers met a world that moved and murmured— a tall horse with quiet strength, a tender cow and calf, a mischievous goat, clucking hens, a proud turkey, and a friendly dog that earned instant smiles. Guided by their teachers’ warm explanations, children watched, listened, and wondered—discovering how each animal belongs to the harmony of farm life.
The air filled with sounds, laughter, and thoughtful questions. Small hands stayed gentle, small hearts grew softer. In learning to observe calmly and interact kindly, Shaanthians absorbed lessons of empathy, care, and respect—lessons no classroom wall could hold.
