For the young Kutty Cops of S5, a visit to the police station was not just a trip—it was a chance to step closer to the people behind the uniform.
Students from Shaanthi ICSE School, Jothinagar and Shaanthi ICSE School, Periyakottai visited the Police Station on 22 August 2026, discovering how the police receive complaints, investigate cases, maintain public order and work every day to keep communities safe.
The interaction gave the students an opportunity to observe different roles within the station, ask questions and understand the responsibilities that come with serving the public. At Periyakottai, the young cops were also briefed by Inspector Kopperudevi on the everyday duties of the Police Department.
What made the experience special was the shift in perspective. The police station was no longer simply a place they had seen from outside—it became a place they could question, explore and understand.
The visit left the students with more than memories: a deeper appreciation for discipline, responsibility, teamwork, respect for the law and their own role as responsible citizens.
A uniform they noticed.
