At Shaanthi Schools, our youngest learners stepped into a new world on 24 November 2025 — a world buzzing with voices, money, choices, and colourful vegetables! The Monday Market activity transformed their learning spaces into lively marketplaces that felt wonderfully real and full of discovery.
Across Mahalingapuram (MLP) and Udumalpet (UDT) campuses, children from S1 became miniature buyers and sellers — arranging fresh vegetables, greeting customers, asking questions, choosing items, handling pretend money, and learning the art of smart shopping.
Some proudly ran retail stalls, while others wandered through aisles making thoughtful selections — weighing vegetables, recognizing names, counting coins, and using polite language through joyful role-play. The enthusiasm was infectious as children explored teamwork, communication, and organization in the most hands-on way possible.
More than activity — it was life education wrapped in fun.
They didn’t just learn what vegetables are… but how the world works.
