At Shaanthi International Play School, Mahalingapuram, our S2 learners turned their regular school day into a mini adventure in responsibility and smart decision-making through a vibrant Road Safety Activity.
A colourful model road came alive inside the Multipurpose Hall — complete with traffic lights, zebra crossings, and signboards that looked straight out of a real street. The children stepped into the setup with wide eyes and even wider excitement, ready to explore how roads work.
They didn’t just listen — they did.
They walked the zebra crossing with care, practised the left–right–left rule, followed glowing signal lights, and even acted out scenes—why helmets matter, how to cross safely, and how rules protect everyone.
Each demonstration made the message clearer: safe choices keep us strong.
Short, simple, joyful — the activity planted habits that will travel with them for life. Road safety isn’t just a lesson; it’s a skill that shapes responsible, confident Shaanthians who know how to protect themselves and others.
