Shaanthi International Play School, Mahalingapuram
As part of Shaanthi Circle, the S1 class mothers came together for a joyful Onam Feast and Moms’ Get-Together, creating a warm space for parents, children and teachers to celebrate as one community. The gathering brought together 17 parents, who contributed a variety of traditional Onam Sadhya dishes and treats for the children.
The celebration continued with parents visiting the classrooms to admire the children’s colourful Onam kolams, followed by shared moments, photographs and joyful interactions. The children especially enjoyed having their parents join them for lunch at school and connect with their friends and classmates.
More than a festive feast, the gathering beautifully reflected the spirit of Shaanthi Circle—connection, sharing, participation and community bonding. It strengthened the relationship between families and the school while creating cherished memories for both parents and children.
A beautiful celebration where food brought us together, tradition gave us a reason to celebrate, and community made the day memorable.
