At Shaanthi Montessori – Jothi nagar and Mahalingapuram, our tiniest trailblazers from S1 set
out on wheels to learn the most important lesson beyond the classroom — how to stay safe
on the road!
On 16th July, a fleet of bright-eyed little ones, brimming with excitement, boarded the van
with their teachers for a special field trip around the city. Before the adventure began, our
young Shaanthians gathered for a quick, lively chat about seatbelts, careful listening, and the
golden rule: safety first, always!
As the van cruised through bustling roads, the children spotted zebra crossings, stop signs,
traffic lights, and school zones — not just as shapes in a book but as real-life guardians of
safety. With each red light and zebra crossing, our kids learned when to stop, when to walk,
and why rules make roads safer for everyone.
Guided by watchful teachers, every passing signal turned into a live lesson — from the role of
traffic police to why speed breakers matter. Giggles, questions, and wide-eyed wonder filled
the ride, weaving together fun and awareness in the best possible way.
This thoughtful little journey turned our S1 stars into mindful mini-citizens, ready to cross
every road with care and confidence. Because at Shaanthi, every trip is a step towards life
smart learning!
