Shaanthi ICSE School, Jothi Nagar, Pollachi | K0 Experiential Learning Visit to Velan Super Market
On 8 October 2026, our K0 Shaanthians explored the vibrant world of Velan Super Market, turning an everyday shopping environment into an exciting learning experience.
From observing colourful products and exploring different sections to discovering fruits, vegetables, toys and household essentials, the children engaged with the world around them through firsthand experiences. The visit nurtured their curiosity, strengthened their observation skills and encouraged them to communicate their discoveries.
Real-life experiences help young children connect what they learn with what they see, develop practical awareness, build confidence and begin making informed choices. Such purposeful visits also foster independence, social interaction and a deeper understanding of everyday life.
At Shaanthi, we do not merely teach children about the world; we create opportunities for them to experience, explore and understand it.
