The S4 Shaanthians of Shaanthi ICSE School, Periyakottai, stepped beyond their Science textbooks on 21st October 2026 with an educational visit to Victus Dyeings – Garments Division.
From fabric storage and cutting to printing, stitching, quality inspection and packing, students witnessed how everyday clothing takes shape through technology, precision and teamwork. The sight of a stitching unit employing over 500 people offered a fascinating glimpse into the world of garment manufacturing.
More than just a visit, this experience helped students connect classroom concepts with real-world industries, appreciate different occupations and understand the importance of skills, quality and teamwork. Documenting the experience through field visit reports further strengthened their observation, vocabulary and communication skills.
