S2 Shaanthians Explore the Wonders of Aquatic Life
Learning becomes truly meaningful when children step beyond the classroom and experience the world first-hand. As part of their Science lesson, Life in Water, the S2 Shaanthians of Shaanthi ICSE School, Periyakottai, and Shaanthi ICSE/ISC School, Jothi Nagar, embarked on exciting educational visits to the aquariums at Trimoorthy Hills and Aliyar respectively.
The visits offered students an opportunity to discover the fascinating diversity of aquatic life. They observed several varieties of fish, including Guppies, Mollies, Tiger Fish, Gourami, Golden Oranda, Tetra, Goldfish, Arowana, Flowerhorn Cichlid and many more.
The experience encouraged curiosity, careful observation and active participation. It also helped the Shaanthians connect classroom concepts with real-life experiences, deepening their understanding of aquatic biodiversity and the fascinating adaptations of water-dwelling creatures.
