At Shaanthi Montessori – Udumalpet, learning stepped out of the classroom and walked into nature’s embrace as our S1 adventurers explored the world of Animal Homes — not through pictures, but through presence.
The morning breeze carried laughter as 75 curious children arrived at a serene farm in Pallapalayam. Every corner held a secret waiting to be discovered — gentle cows resting in their shelters, hens proudly guarding their coops, dogs wagging in their kennels, and horses standing tall in elegant stables. Eyes widened, hearts softened, and curiosity grew wings.
As caretakers shared stories of care and coexistence, the young learners listened with awe. They didn’t just see animal homes — they felt them, understanding how comfort, love, and protection shape every creature’s world. Hands clapped in joy as warm channa treats added sweetness to a morning already glowing with discovery.
What began as a simple field trip became a tender lesson in empathy — a reminder that every being, big or small, needs shelter, safety, and kindness.
