At Shaanthi ICSE – Periyakottai, the air crackled with imagination as our young scientists stepped into the spotlight at the “Veetuku Oru Vingyani” competition — a celebration of minds that dare to think, tinker, and transform.
Hosted by Puthiya Thalaimurai in association with Village Technology School, the event gathered brilliant young inventors from across the district, each carrying dreams made of science and hope. Under the watchful eyes of distinguished guests — including Dr. E. Balagurusamy, renowned educator and former Anna University Vice-Chancellor, and Dr. Elangovan Rajagopalan, the visionary ISRO scientist who once worked beside Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam — our Shaanthians found not just inspiration, but purpose.

In the Junior Category, Akilan K. (S7A) and Pavin Kumar S. (S6A) harnessed the flow of energy with their Hydroelectric Power Plant model, winning 5th place among 52 teams.
In the Senior Category, Rohit S. and Vaasan B. created waves of brilliance with their Bubble Curtain innovation, securing 3rd place among 50 participants.
Applause filled the hall as medals, certificates, and trophies gleamed — not merely as symbols of victory, but as promises of a future led by thinkers who build, believe, and better the world.
