Our S1 explorers from Shaanthi ICSE – Jothinagar entered Mahaguru Wholesale Textiles and were instantly wrapped in a blizzard of colour—cottons cool as clouds, silks that shimmered like sunlight, bold prints waiting to become someone’s favourite outfit.
The manager became a storyteller, spinning secrets of weaving, dyeing, and printing into a live art lesson. Little brows furrowed as they learned how bulk buying works, how prices bend in the dance of negotiation, and how designs are chosen to match a customer’s dream.
Questions flew faster than spools could spin—“How do you make these patterns? What should we study to design fabrics like this?”—proving that a single morning can ignite a lifetime of ideas.
