On a bright September morning, the Multi-Purpose Hall at Shaanthi Montessori–Udumalpet turned into a world of laughter, petals, and tiny birthday crowns. We gathered to honour eight radiant K1 children—each one celebrated not just for a birthday, but for the wonder of who they are.
Parents were welcomed like old friends, as soft slokas floated through the air and the ceremonial lamp lit the space with a golden hush. Flowers met the deity, music wrapped the moment, and blessings flowed like sunlight.
Then came the sparkle—birthday caps tilted, eyes wide with anticipation—as the children recited the pledge and leaned in for the grand cake-cutting. Cheers and frosting mingled in a sweet blur of giggles.
