At Shaanthi International Play School, Mahalingapuram, the morning unfolded not with routine bells, but with the resonant beat of devotion. The air carried the scent of flowers and the sound of mantras, as our S3 Shaanthians led a joyous procession, bearing a beautifully adorned idol of Lord Vinayagar.
Every chant was more than a sound—it was a rhythm of unity, echoing through the corridors, binding students, teachers, and tradition in one shared heartbeat. The idol gleamed, children’s eyes sparkled, and the campus itself seemed to glow with a festive light.
As prayers rose, the message of Ganesh Chaturthi—removing obstacles and beginning anew—felt alive in every corner. The celebration came to a close with the sharing of sundal, a simple yet sacred prasadham, symbolising community and gratitude.
