For our Grade 3 Shaanthians of Periyakottai Shaanthi School, the Social Studies lesson The Sun, Moon, and Earth was not confined to chalk and talk—it unfolded as an adventure across the playground.
Children became cosmic travelers, their little steps marking vast distances—learning that while the Moon is our closest neighbour, the Sun waits in the unimaginable beyond. Laughter mingled with awe as they counted their strides, each one a measure of celestial truth. What textbooks once described in numbers now took shape in rhythm and movement, making the mysteries of space tangible and alive.
