On July 9th, 2025, our Grade 3 Shaanthians of Periyakottai swapped books for buzzing platforms at Udumalpet Railway Station, turning a lesson on ‘Changes in the Transport System’ into an adventure on the tracks.
These little explorers watched tickets print at smart kiosks, read timetables, listened to announcements, and traced trains as they arrived and departed — giant steel storytellers on wheels. They quizzed station staff, learnt safety steps, and marvelled at how technology keeps trains on time and travellers safe.
They returned with more than answers — they carried home a spark to see every station, every journey, as a classroom on the move.
At Shaanthi, we believe true learning boards the train of curiosity — and never stops.
