Strength in Motion, Learning in Action

Learning about the human body becomes truly meaningful when children experience science beyond the textbook. As part of their Bones and Muscles lesson, our Grade 5 students visited a gym and a physiotherapy clinic, turning classroom concepts into real-life discoveries.

At the gym, students explored exercise equipment and observed how different movements strengthen muscles and improve flexibility. At the physiotherapy clinic, they were introduced to equipment such as the CPM and ultrasound therapy machines and learned how physiotherapy supports the recovery of muscles and joints.

Such visits make learning visual, practical and memorable. They encourage students to observe, question and connect what they learn in class with the world around them. More importantly, they help children appreciate the importance of exercise, healthy movement and caring for their bodies.

A lesson observed. A concept experienced. A world of learning discovered.
