The curious little explorers of Shaanthi International Play School, Pollachi and Shaanthi ICSE School, Periyakottai embarked on an exciting visit to their nearby railway stations, where every step turned into a new discovery. From the ticket counter and platforms to railway tracks, signboards, enquiry offices, and electronic display boards, the children experienced the fascinating world of railways up close. They also watched trains arrive and depart while learning how the railway system works and why it is one of the country’s most important modes of transport.
A special interaction with the Railway Police taught the children valuable railway safety rules, helping them understand the importance of being alert, responsible, and disciplined while travelling.
This joyful learning adventure transformed classroom lessons into real-life experiences, inspiring curiosity, observation, confidence, and a lifelong love for exploration. Because every great journey begins with a single step—and for our little learners, it began on the railway platform!
