At Shaanthi ICSE – Jothi Nagar, 20 November 2025 unfolded as a lesson in bravery wrapped in excitement. The S4 learners welcomed the Pollachi Fire Service Team, turning the campus into a living laboratory of real-world safety.
The officers began with simple, gripping stories—how awareness saves seconds, and how seconds save lives. Step by step, they walked the children through road safety, school safety, and the unseen causes of fire mishaps. Soon, helmets, hoses, life jackets, SCBA masks, and the towering fire truck became hands-on exhibits that widened every young eye.
Questions poured out of the students like sparks—curious, thoughtful, fearless. The officers answered each one with patience, guiding them to think smart, stay alert, and respond calmly.
When the session ended, the children offered a heartfelt thank-you, carrying with them more than information—they carried confidence.
