Shaanthi School’s tiny explorers from K0 – UDT Montessori set out on a joyful van ride across Udumalpet on 08.12.2025, turning an ordinary weekday into a journey filled with wonder. With curious eyes and excited chatter, 38 little Shaanthians travelled through the town to see how the world around them truly works.
Their route was sprinkled with meaningful stops — the temple, church, library, flower market, fire station, railway station, bus stand, college, jewellery shop, petrol bunk, hotel, hospitals, and more. Each place offered a small window into community life, helping the children understand people, places, and the roles that keep a town moving.
With their teachers guiding every moment, the students observed, questioned, pointed, smiled, and connected what they saw with what they learn in class. For many, it was their first time seeing these spaces in action — a real-world classroom far bigger than the four walls they’re used to.
The outing was as educational as it was heartwarming, filling the day with laughter, learning, and shared memories.
For our young Shaanthians, this simple ride became a beautiful lesson — that the world is full of helpers, services, and stories waiting to be discovered.
