History stepped out of the page for our S8 Shaanthians of Shaanthi School ICSE, Periyakottai, when they explored the Police Museum on 9 January. Amid insignia, evolving uniforms, communication relics, medals and modern forensic displays, learners traced the living journey of law enforcement—connecting their lesson on the 1857 uprising with the present-day guardians of order.
Stories of cyber vigilance, women’s protection, road conduct and bravery citations reshaped the way they see public service. As helplines were memorised and traffic tools decoded, respect replaced curiosity. The visit sculpted Shaanthians into alert citizens—more disciplined, safety-aware, and conscious of their role in sustaining a just society.
Here, awareness didn’t arrive through lectures—it walked beside them.
