From observing bricks, cement, sand, iron rods and tiles to seeing workers and different stages of construction, students discovered how their classroom learning takes shape in the real world.
But the real construction was not happening only at the site—it was happening within the children.
The visit encouraged students to observe, question, communicate, think practically and connect ideas with real-life situations. Exploring different homes—from huts and tiled-roof houses to bungalows, apartments and gated communities—helped them understand how people, places, needs and lifestyles influence the way we build.
