Swimming as a life saving art is taught in the regular in the regular curriculum during the third standard of study.It can also be taken as an option by interested students.Swimming pool will be open for use on all saturdays for students swimmers.
Field Trips are an integral part of our school education. the purpose of the field trips provide students with hands on experiences outside their everyday activities and to observe the subject in its natural state. Field visits shall be intimated to parents well in advance and parents shall sign their consent to such visits. Students who do not collect their consents shall not be allowed on such visits.
Martial Arts cover a broad range of activities that involve fighting techniques,physical exercises, and methods of mentol discipline,among other skills. Martial arts are used today around the world for self-defense, exercise, health, spiritual growth, law enforcement, and athletic competition.Karate and Silambam under martial arts are introduced as co-curricular activities for class groups S4,S5 S6 and S7 respectively.
A Healthy body is the essence for a healthy mind. Yoga is compulsory for student and is imparted by specialists once every week.
Classes from S2 and above have vocal music as a compulsory co-curricular activity. School chair is selected based on the performance of the students of the year.
