At Shaanthi School ICSE, education is designed to inspire wonder beyond textbooks. Through the vibrant efforts of the Shaanthi Astronomy Club – The Cosmic Crusaders, the students of S4 experienced an extraordinary learning session at the school’s Planetarium and Astronomy Laboratory, where science came alive through exploration and discovery.
From understanding the Tonight’s Sky and identifying constellations, planets, and stars, to exploring the Observatory Dome, telescopes, astronomical lenses, filters, and space imaging cameras, the visit offered a powerful blend of STEM learning, practical application, scientific inquiry, and experiential education. Students also engaged in fascinating discussions on galaxies, black holes, and space missions, igniting their curiosity about the universe.
This immersive experience strengthened their critical thinking, observational skills, scientific temperament, and problem-solving abilities—core values of the ICSE curriculum. At Shaanthi Schools, we nurture young minds to dream bigger, think deeper, and reach beyond the stars
