Learning becomes truly meaningful when it is experienced. As part of the “Food and Diseases” lesson, S5 students brought science to life by organising a BMI Health Camp, where they transformed classroom concepts into practical learning.
Students created a colourful 3D Food Pyramid, welcomed parents, measured their height and weight, calculated Body Mass Index (BMI), and shared healthy dietary suggestions with confidence and care. The camp provided a wonderful platform to strengthen communication, critical thinking, and scientific application while promoting health awareness.
Such hands-on experiences help children become confident communicators, responsible decision-makers, and lifelong learners, proving that the finest education is one that prepares them not only for examinations but also for life.
