At Shaanthi ICSE School, learning is brought to life through meaningful real-world experiences. Our S5 Shaanthians of Jothinagar Campus stepped beyond the classroom for an enriching field visit to Iniya Haritraa Farms, where they explored the heart of agriculture firsthand.
Through interactive conversations with farmers, students discovered the science behind crops, irrigation, fertilizers, pest control, and seasonal farming practices. From coconut and cocoa fields to banana and arecanut plantations, every corner of the farm became a living lesson.
Such experiential learning journeys help children connect with the world around them, appreciate the value of farmers, and cultivate life values like respect, gratitude, and responsibility—shaping them into informed and grounded future citizens.
