Some lessons don’t stay on a page — they settle into instinct.
That’s exactly what happened when our S4 learners stepped into a world of real-time readiness during a powerful First Aid Demonstration at Shaanthi ICSE – Periyakottai on 27 November 2025.
A trained emergency-response team with years of field experience turned the classroom into a mini life-saving arena. Instead of lectures, students watched real demonstrations — how to handle burns big and small, stop bleeding safely, react to snake bites and stings, support fractures, manage sunstroke, revive someone who faints, control a sudden nosebleed, and even respond to choking.
Every step was broken down with clarity. Every question welcomed. Every child encouraged to observe, think, and stay calm under pressure.
By the end of the session, our Shaanthians didn’t just learn procedures —
they gained courage, presence of mind, and the confidence to act responsibly when it matters most.
Experiences like these strengthen more than skills; they shape thoughtful, dependable individuals who know that helping others is the greatest form of strength.
