At Shaanthi ICSE – Jothi Nagar and Shaanthi ICSE – Periyakottai, the young minds of Grade 7 journeyed to the KSD Solar Power Plant, Kottamangalam, where sunlight transformed from a natural wonder into a powerful lesson.
Rows of sleek solar panels shimmered beneath the sky, silently turning light into electricity. Guided by engineers, students discovered how photovoltaic cells, inverters, and transformers work together to convert sunlight into energy that powers homes and hopes alike.
Inside the control room, glowing screens displayed real-time power data, turning textbook theories into living science. What once felt abstract now shone bright with meaning and purpose.
The visit went beyond physics — it was a glimpse into the future. Students learned that the sun isn’t just a source of energy, but a symbol of sustainability and human ingenuity.
At Shaanthi Schools, such journeys kindle more than curiosity — they shape conscious learners, innovators, and guardians of tomorrow’s world.
