Our little Shaanthians discovered that families are best understood not from pictures in a book, but by stepping into the warmth of real homes.

Students of Shaanthi Montessori School, Udumalpet, visited carefully chosen nuclear and joint families, while the children of Shaanthi ICSE, Jothi Nagar explored family life through visits to homes in Angalakuruchi and Jothi Nagar. Everywhere they went, they were welcomed with smiles, introduced to family members, listened to grandparents’ stories, enjoyed homemade hospitality, and expressed their gratitude by presenting handmade thumbprint keepsakes to their hosts.

At Shaanthi, we believe that values are not merely taught—they are experienced. These meaningful visits help children understand that whether a family is small or large, its greatest strength lies in love, respect, sharing, and togetherness.
